About Utilitas
Software should earn its place
Utilitas is a collection of browser-first tools built for real creative, planning, and privacy tasks.
The idea
Useful is a demanding standard
Utilitas takes its name from utility: fitness for a purpose. That is the test for every project in this collection. A product should help someone complete a meaningful task, explain the assumptions behind its result, and avoid creating a larger burden than the one it removes.
The projects are deliberately distinct. SVG Vector Lab is a vector editor. Project Quantity Lab is a material and cost planner. Photo Privacy Lab is a photo-sharing safety workflow. They share product principles and a technical foundation, but each keeps the domain, interface, documentation, and privacy language appropriate to its own work.
How projects are built
Whenever practical, computation happens in the browser. Static pages remain readable without a large application bundle. Interactive code is loaded only where it contributes to the task. Public claims are limited to features that exist and have been tested.
Trust is treated as product work. Important pages describe privacy, security, limitations, access, and contact routes. Search metadata, structured data, sitemaps, and agent-facing indexes are generated from the same route inventory so they are less likely to drift apart.
What this hub is not
This website is not an account dashboard, an API platform, a data broker, or a promise that every project has identical capabilities. It is the maintained directory and standards home for the collection. Individual project policies control the product-specific data and interactions on their own sites.
